"Time Out" guide writes that Lourmarin is "the de facto gastronomic capital of the area." For a small village, it is blessed with some highly acclaimed restaurants serving haute cuisine as well as many less formal restaurants, bistros, cafés, and a pizza places.
Just a short distance away--Aix-en-Provence, for example--the possibilities expand greatly. Below are a few of the places we have frequented again and again and can confidently recommend.
